Dhaka – Muggers shot two employees of a ‘bKash’ agent and took away Tk 10 lakh from them near Kadam Fuara in the High Court area on Sunday.
The injured were identified as M Sohag Khan, 28, and Doulat Gazi, 35, employees of bKash agent ‘Siddique Enterprise’ situated on the ground floor of the Supreme Court Bar Association Bhaban.Quoting Sohag, sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said a gang of hoodlums in a car intercepted the duo in the area around 7pm and snatched the money kept in a bag while they were going to Arambagh by a rickshaw.
The criminals shot Sohag and Doulat as they tried to resist them.
With bullet injuries to their left legs, both the employees were rushed to the DMCH. – UNB
