Muslim League hosts Iftar for political workers

Muslim League Iftar

The Bangladesh Muslim League on Monday hosted an Iftar Mohfil for political leaders and workers at the Institute of Diplima Engineers in  Dhaka city.Presided over by BML president Advocate Nurul Huq Majumder, the Iftar Mohfil was addressed by, BNP standing Committee member DR. RA Ghani, BML secretary general Kazi Abul Khair, BNP chairpersons adviser Barrister Haider Ali and Inquilab editor AMM Bahauddin among others.
Moulana Ahmedullah Ashraf, head of Bangladesh Shasantantra Andolan led the munajat at the conclusion of the Iftar Mohfil.
The Speakers at the function underscored the need for upholding the Muslim identify of the majority of the people based on which this seperate homeland of Bangladesh was established through decades of movement and the war of independence.                                                                                                                                  Earlier on Sunday police prevented the two Nezam-e-Islam Party factions headed by Advocate Abdur Raquib and Mifti Izahar Ahmed at the office of the former and at a Paltan hotel. Mufti  Izahar said they managed to shift their iftar mohfil quickly to the Rajmoni Isha Kha Hotel, but  many workers could not attend it.
