Nahid for action against question paper leakage

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Monday said stern action will be taken against those involved in the leakage of question paper of the Primary Terminal Examination 2013.  “Anyone involved in the question paper leakage will not be spared and stern action will be taken as per recommendation of the probe committee,” he said at a press conference at the Secretariat.   Nahid, also Primary and Mass Education Minister for the polls-time government, said necessary steps would be taken to avert such leakage of question paper in the future.   He said that the question papers were believed leaked out in some limited areas, the ministry will identify from where these were leaked out and who were involved with the leakage.   On November 23, the Primary and Mass Education Ministry formed a three-member probe committee headed by additional secretary of the ministry SM Ashraful Islam to investigate into the allegation of question paper leakage.   The committee has been asked to submit its report to the ministry within next 15 working days.   The Primary and Ebtedayee Terminal Examinations 2013 began across the country on November 20 with the participation of 29,50,193 students. – UNB
