Mymensingh, Aug 2 – ‘Narsingdi Zilla Chhatrokollan Samity’ of Mymensingh was formed at Animal Husbandry faculty gallery room of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). Narsingdi Zilla Samity organized a post-Eid reunion and fresher’s reception for the newly enrolled students of BAU who came from Narsingdi district.
A 39 member committee was formed with Prof Dr Mohammad Shamsul Alam Bhuiyan of Animal Breeding & Genetics department as president and Tapu Sutradhar of Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology as general secretary.
Other members are, Prof Dr SM Lutful Kabir of Microbiology and Hygiene department as Vice-president, Prof Dr Mohammad Matiur Rahman of Fisheries Biology & Genetics department as treasurer.
Narsingdi Zilla Samity adviser Prof Dr Mohammad Anwar Hossain of Genetics and Plant Breeding department announced the committee.
About 100 students of Narsingdi district attended the program. – BAU Correspondent
