Nasim calls Trump to give back the killers of Bangabandhu

Rajshahi-Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Friday urged to the newly elected US president, Donald Trump, to send back the killers of Nation Father, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahaman to Bangladesh.He said made this call while addressing at a discussion at the Rajshahi University senate building on Friday evening as chief guest. Teachers’ Association of Rajshahi University arranged the discussion marking the Jail Killing Day.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Awami League president AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, former VP of RU Students’ Union and executive member of Awami league central committee Nurul Islam, RUTA president Professor Muhammad Shahidullah also spoke at the programme.

The Minister said, ” The AL, after coming to power, got the verdict of the four national leaders’ killing case through appeal. He said after the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Khondaker Mostaq Ahmad had tempted the national four leaders to join him but the four leaders did not compromise with him (Mostaq) and never feared death.
Nasim, also spokesman of Central 14-party alliance, said after BNP-Jamaat alliance assumed the state power in 2001, it had influenced the four national leaders’ killing case by keeping it pending on different excuses.
He also assured them on the conference to declare 18 Feb as “National Teachers Day”.-RU Correspondent
