Dhaka – Chattogram District team clinched the 4th National Tchoukball Championship title beating Chapainawabganj District team by 46-33 goals in the final at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Wednesday.
Jashore District team finished 3rd in the meet beating Rajshahi District by 53-41 goals in a place deciding match on the day. Bangladesh Tchoukball Association organized the meet under the financial support of Chattogram City Corporation Mayor.
Alamgir of Chattogram was adjudged the best player while Mehedi Hasan Raju of Jashore named as the promising player of the meet.
Secretary of National Sports Council M Masud Karim was the chief guest in the day’s final. Chief Executive Officer of Chattogram City Corporation Mohammad Shamsuzoha and general secretary of Bangladesh Tchoukball Association ANM Wahid Dulal were also present on the occasion.UNB
