Dhaka-The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Thursday placed two suspected “Neo-JMB” couples on remand for different terms in a case filed under the Anti-terrorism Act.Metropolitan Magistrate Satya Broto Sikder passed the order. Of the suspects, two women were placed on a five-day while the two men were put on a seven-day remand each.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Wednesday claimed, they arrested the couples linked to militant outfit “Neo JMB” on Wednesday during their raids in the capital and Narayanganj.
The arrestees are- Aminul Islam, 34, his wife Nahida Sultana, 30, Shariful Islam alias Sultan Mahmud Taposh, 18, and his wife Marzina Akter Sumi19.-Special Correspondent
