A new cinema hall is going to be launched in Narayanganj. The name of this cinema hall is ‘Cinescope’ where the sitting arrangement is limited.
There will be various facilities in theatre such as showing of 3D movies, 7.1 Dolby digital audio system, snacks and coffee shop for audiences etc. Film making organization ‘Cinemaker’ along with Narayanganj City Corporation will jointly operate this new cinema hall. If there is no lapse, ‘Cinescope’ will start its journey at Chunkanagar Pathagar building in Narayanganj through a Film festival organised by authority in August.
The initiator of this theatre Mohammad Nuruzzaman said that keeping the demands of audiences in mind the theatre is made for quality movies with good contents. He also said, because of unfavorable environment and security reasons audiences are not willing to go to the mainstream cinema halls. New young and dedicated directors who will try to represent Bangladesh to the outside world through movies, their movies will get the preference to be displayed here. In addition to this there will also be display of various noted actors and directors’ works in different periods. Everyday there will be a special show for kids. They can watch different famous movies made for kids on the 3D screen here. This will encourage their urge for creativity. Nuruzzaman also said ‘Cinescope’ is not just a business organisation it will also work indifferent social and cultural scenario.
