Dhaka, Jan 27 (UNB) – Newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Kurigram-4 constituency M Ruhul Amin was sworn in on Monday.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath to the new MP at a simple ceremony at her Jatiya Sangsad office, said a PID handout.
Deputy Speaker Shawkat Ali and chief whip ASM Feroz were present.
Anwar Hossain Manju-led Jatiya Party (JP) candidate Ruhul Amin was elected from Kurigram-4 after re-voting in two polling stations on Thursday.
