A young man was found dead in a jute field at Adarsha Battala in Sadar
upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased, Rasel Rana, 27, hailing from Taragar Majhpara village of
Sadar upazila of Sherpur district, was an auto-rickshaw driver.
Police said locals spotted the body of Rana in a jute field at about
11.00am and informed them.
Later police recovered the body and sent it to Jamalpur General
Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police suspected that miscreants killed Rana the night before and took
away his auto-rickshaw.
A case was filed with Sadar Police Station in this connection.
