A newspaper press employee was killed and four other people were injured as a pickup van carrying newspapers overturned on the road near Kamalapur Pir Jangi Mazar in the city’s Shahjahanpur area early Friday.The deceased was identified as Mashiur Rahman, 35, a press employee of the ‘Daily Manabkantha’.He hailed from Shariatpur district.The accident took place in the area around 2.00 am when a newspaper-laden pickup van crashed into a road divider and overturned, leaving five people inside it injured.The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Mashiur succumbed to his injuries around 3:30 am. -UNB
