No info that Turkish Ambassador has been withdrawn:Minister

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam yesterday said the government has no information over withdrawal of Turkish Ambassador from Dhaka.“We have no such information that the Ambassador has been withdrawn,” he said while talking to reporters with a group of journalists at his residence.
The state minister said before leaving Dhaka, the Turkish Ambassador informed the Foreign Affairs Ministry he was going to outside Bangladesh and informed the name of a diplomat, who would discharge duties in his absence.
“It is a normal procedure that he followed. In case of withdrawal it could be informed but they did not do it,” he added.
Replying to a question, Alam said there is no scope to weigh the reaction of Pakistan and Turkey in same scale.
“The mater of Pakistan is far more grave, which is very disturbing for us,” he said.
He hoped that Turkey will maintain relation with Bangladesh for its own interest, even though it has withdrawn it Ambassador on case of Nizami.
