According to the recent press reports, not a single university from Bangladesh had sent data for the top 100 list of the Times Higher Education Asia University Ranking 2015 despite being invited. Unfortunate indeed! But I wonder how the invitation could be ignored by the universities? I am sure that most of the universities in Bangladesh take keen interest in representing Bangladeshi educational system and standard in international forums. In our case, both the Vice Chancellor and Pro-VC are much attentive to these matters. Whenever such invitation arrives, they quickly refer the matter to the concerned desk for preparing the reply.
Anyway we hope to join the race for ranking in the next year.
Meanwhile, I would like to congratulate the University of Tokyo, National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong for retaining the first, second and the third place respectively in the top 100 list of the Times Higher Education Asia University Ranking 2015.
