Dhaka – Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has rescheduled the final of Walton Under-18 Football Tournament between NoFeL Sporting Club and Saif Sporting Club on Tuesday. Now the final meet will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm in the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur instead of at 3 pm on Tuesday due to heavy rain.
Group D Champions Saif SC reached the final eliminating Dhaka Abahani Limited by 5-0 goals in the 2nd semifinal at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) here on September 27 while the Group D runners-up NoFel SC reached the final eliminating Bashundhara Kings by 4-3 goals in tie breaker in the 1st semifinal at the same venue on September 26.
In their previous meet, Saif Sporting Club played 1-1 draw against NoFeL Sporting Club in the opening match of the Walton Under-18 Football Tournament at BNS here on September 13.
Earlier, a total of twelve Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) clubs – split into four groups – participated in the tournament.UNB
