Of better things, a minister speaks always!

Roads and communication minister Obaidul Kader said: this government will come again by defeating BNP”. For development of a country, continuing a government may be helpful for a third world country like Bangladesh.
Two things among others of BNP government were popular: one was working against copying in public examinations and students got back to the reading table and the other one was banning production and use of polythene shopping bags. But now very young children of grade five are seen copying in examinations halls and polythene shopping bag are used under camoulfage. If we see the garbage carefully there mostly are polythenes and there are a major cause of waterlogging in the cities.
Not very long ago, we hear very common things after the results of PSC, JSC, SSC and even HSC are out. Lazy Sabina (not real name) passed and some got good grades. Teachers were asked to give enough marks in all the public exams and to be liberal about pass marks and even A plus marks. It is said that if you want to destroy a nation, destroy its education.
One newspapers headlined a report ‘ ….. vacant posts have increased’. But one of the manifestos of this government was in 2009: every family members will get a job. According to a report published in a newspaper, around sixty thousand posts are lying vacant under primary and secondary education ministries and departments alone and around 3 lakh and sixty thousand posts are lying vacant in total.
From the news we hear that political pressure to recruit their candidates is one the reasons for non recruitment against the vacant posts.
Unemployment rate has increased significantly. I know two brothers educated from a renowned university but they haven’t got jobs yet. They have no land and and are managing themselves with income from private tuition which is not always available.
I urge the government to fill the vacant post according to merit and give preference to orphans and widows.
