A government employee died after taking excessive rectified spirit at Gurulia village in Jessore sadar upazila early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Harun-ur-Rashid, 42, an employee of Jessore district administration, and son of Afsar Biswas of the village.Sources said doctors declared Harun dead at Jessore Medical College Hospital where he was taken as he fell sick after taking rectified spirit.A UD case was filed.-UNB
