A mobile court in Kaliganj upazila on Saturday sentenced a man to one month imprisonment for stalking a young girl.
Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Syed Faruqe Ahmed gave the punishment to Bablu Dhali, 42, son of Atiar Dhali of Mukunda Madhusadanpur village in the upazila, at noon.Officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station Golam Rahman said the convicted man was sent to jail. -UNB, Satkhira
