Dhaka – Detectives arrested a man along with snake venom from Dhanmondi area in the city on Tuesday night.The arrestee was identified as Md Solaiman Azad, 61, a resident of Dhanmondi area.Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted a drive at a house on Road-8 of the posh area around 8:05 pm and arrested Solaiman, said Masudur Rahman, DMP deputy commissioner (media).UNB agencyThe law enforcers also recovered 12 pounds of snake venom worth Tk 45 crore from his possession, he added.Solaiman hails from Dimatoli village of Chouddagram upazila in Comilla district.A case was filed with Dhanmondi Police Station in this connection.
