Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a man along with 284 Yaba tablets from Amrakhali area here on Sunday night.The arrestee was identified as Shariful Islam, son of Sirajul Islam, a resident of Bhaberber village.
Major Husain Raisul Azam Monir, commander of Jessore Rab-6 camp, said tipped-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Shariful at about 7:30 pm.The law enforcers also recovered 284 Yaba tablets after searching his body.A case was filed in this connection with Benapole Police Station. -UNB, Benapole
