One held with 6 lakh fake Indian currency

Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a Bangladeshi national along with 6.30 lakh fake Indian currency from Chouka village in Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj on Saturday night.The arrestee was identified as Masud Rana, 28, son of Mir Hossian, a resident of Chouka village in bordering Monkasha union of the upazila.Squadran leader Mohamamd Sayed Abdullah Al Murad, comanding officer of Rab-5, said acting on secret information, a team of Rab-5 conducted a drive at a house in the village and arrested Rana along with the fake Indian rupees around 9:00 pm.A case was filed.UNB news agency
