Members of BGB arrested one person with 85 grams of heroin worth Tk.
1,70,000 from a residential hotel in Chapainawabganj town in the early
hours of Friday.
The arrested person was identified as Akbar Ali, 40, son of Rabiul
Islam of Terorashia village under Islampur union of Chapainawabganj
Sadar upazila.
BGB sources said, acting on a tip off a patrol team of BGB along with
the executive magistrate Imran Hossain raided Hotel Shwapnopuri and
arrested the Akbar Ali with the heroin at around 1 am. The arrested
person was handed over to Chapainawabganj Sadar thana and a case was
