One person was killed and 30 others were injured when two passenger buses collided head-on near Jagir on Dhaka-Aricha highway this morning.The identity of the victim was not known immediately. The injured persons were admitted to Manikganj Sadar Hospital.Highway Police sources said the accident took place at about 10.30am when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of Surovi Paribahan collided head on with another Aricha-bound passenger bus of NNB Paribahan leaving one dead on the spot. Police suspected that the victim might be the helper of one of the bus. The body was sent to Manikganj Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.A case was filed with Manikganj Police Station in this connection. -BSS, Manikganj
