One person was killed and four others were injured following a clash
between two rival groups at Bikenagar under Janjira upazila of the
district on Saturday.The deceased was identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 25, of the
area.Police said the clash erupted between Hawlader group and
Khandaker group over a disputed land in the area using lethal arms,
leaving five injured of both the groups.
The injured were sent to local hospital.
Later, Tofazzal was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH)
in critical conditions where he succumbed to his injuries this
morning.
A case was filed with Janjira Police Station in this connection.
