A man was killed and two others were injured as a power tiller overturned at Barandi Balihuda village in Jibannagar upazila on Tuesday morning.The deceased was identified as Shimul Hossain, 32, son of Azizul Haque of Kanaidanga village in Maheshpur upazila of Jhenidah.
Police said the accident took place when a power tiller on its way to Jibannagar with 5 to 6 people on board turned upside down in the area around 3:00pm, trapping Shimul inside.
Shimul died on the spot and two others were injured.
The injured were rushed to Jibannagar Upazila Health Complex. Abdur Rakib Khan, officer-in-charge of Jibannagar Police Station, confirmed the incident. –UNB, Chuadanga
