A pedestrian was killed and three others were injured in a road accident at Dikpait area under Sadar upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Saidur Rahman, 25, son of Dudu Miah of Kargram village of the upazila.Police said the accident occurred when a Dhaka bound speedy bus hit them in the area at around 7.30am, leaving Saidur dead on the spot and injured three others.The injured were sent to Jamalpur general hospital.
