A motorcyclist was crushed to death under a truck on the Jamalpur-Dewanganj highway in Melandah upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified Billal Hossain, 23, son of Bulu Sheikh, resident of Charpara village of Melandah upazila and a 3rd year student of Jamalpur Govt Ashek Majmud College.Witnesses said the accident took place when the truck hit the motorcycle in the area around 9am, leaving Billal dead on the spot and another critically injured.The injured was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
