A man was killed in an accident at Mohajon Potty area in city on Sunday night.The deceased was identified as Ahsan Habib Babu, 40, resident of Doulatpur in Kushtia district.Witnesses said a pick up van hit Babu him when he crossing the road in the area around 9:30 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.Police arrested pickup van driver Monir, 20, son of Zamal Uddin, resident of Moynabad village of Chunarughat upazila in Habiganj district.The body of the deceased was sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.Sub-inspector Delowar of Bandar police camp confirmed the incident.UNB, Sylhet
