On 7th July 2020, Digital Haat has been launched as a joint initiative of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division, e-CAB, and Bangladesh Dairy Farmers’ Association (BDFA). Owning the crown of the largest single online cattle market of the country, Digital Haat’s website is associated with 51 selling partners.
With a view to fulfil the necessity of a wide variety of customers, this digital platform is displaying more than 2000 animals in diverse colour, size, and price range. Navigating to the user-friendly website of Digital Haat, you will find cattle under diverse categories including, local, cross, Indian, Nepali, Sahiwal, Jebu, Sindhi, Zersy, Holistine, Haryana, Friziyan, etc. In this platform, you can purchase the desired cattle ranging from fifty thousand to one crore in BDT.
Maintaining public health standards, this digital platform can deliver sacrificial animals. The slaughtering fee is 23% of the cattle-price. Established in 2010, Sadeeq Agro is working with a vision of producing good quality meat. Targeting the upcoming Kurbanir Eid, Sadeeq Agro has initiated to sell cattle through their website along with home delivery service after slaughtering. You can also visit their farm to choose your cattle ranging from BDT 9900 to BDT 500000. The slaughtering and delivery service would be provided on the Eid day and the following three days.
Sadeeq Agro’s payment procedure includes cash payment as well as online payment service (Card, Mobile Banking, and BKash). About 20% of advanced payment is required for purchasing live cattle. And the full payment must be processed 3 days before the festival. Slaughtering service is optional and depends on the availability of slots. You have to pay an additional 15% of the cattle price as the charge for slaughtering service.
