Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina categorically said that with the help of army, Bangladesh University of Science and Technology (BUET) and Bridges Division a new design for Padma Bridge would be prepared by the next six months.
The premier came up with disclosure while addressing party’s parliamentary committee meeting on the eighth floor of the parliament house Sunday.
Sheikh Hasina reiterated that the government would go for collecting fund from alternative sources if the World Bank does not finance the project.
Some ministers who attended the meeting confirmed the matter to banglanews.
