Panchagarh ex-BNP MP Mozahar passes away

Dhaka – Mozahar Hossain, a BNP executive committee member and its former MP, died at a city hospital on Monday night. He was 71, UNB news agency reported.Mozahar, who had long been suffering from cancer, breathed his last at Green Road Central Hospital in the city around 9pm, said BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
He is survived by wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives, followers and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Mozahar, also the ex-president of Panchagarh unit BNP, had been elected MP for four times from Panchagarh-2 constituency.
Meanwhile, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock at his death.
They prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed their sympathy to the bereaved family members.
