Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 1,000 bottles of phensidyl from Chapor area under Shibganj upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
BGB sources said receiving secret information a special patrol team of BGB from Kamalpur Border Outpost (BOP) raided a mango orchard at Chapor area and recovered smuggled Indian phensidyl in an abandoned condition at about 9.30 pm.None was arrested in this connection and no case filed till writing the report. -BSS,Chapainawabganj
