Miscreants torched a pickup van and vandalised eight CNG-run auto- rickshaws in Dalal Bazar area of sadar upazila on Saturday night on the eve of another spell of 72-hour hartal enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.Police said a group of miscreants set afire the pickup van and vandalised eight auto-rickshaws in the area around 8:30pm. The pickup van driver sustained burn injuries during the incident. Meanwhile, miscreants also vandalised two auto-rickshaws in Miar Road area, one truck and two auto-rickshaws in Islam Market area, an auto-rickshaw in Chandraganj Bazar area and three auto-rickshaws in Bhabaniganj area of sadar upazila.
