Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, now in the USA, is clearing urgent files from there through email so that official activities do not get stalled for her absence in the country.Sheikh Hasina is now in Virginia on her last leg of US visit in connection with the 71st UN General Assembly (UNGA).
The Prime Minister cleared nine urgent files from Virginia on Saturday taking the advantage of modern technologies initiated by her government, PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
He said the Prime Minister, who will return home on September 30, also instructed her office to send all the urgent files to her during her stay in the USA.
Awami League will accord a reception to her on her return for projecting the country’s successes at the UNGA and ‘fruitful’ bilateral discussion with Canada.
The Prime Minister left Dhaka on September 14 to attend the Fifth Replenishment Conference of the Global Fund (GF) in Canada at the invitation of her Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau and the 71th UNGA in New York.
