PM visits Sylhet today to inaugurate development projects

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visits Sylhet tomorrow (Tuesday) to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of a number of development projects.   After reaching Sylhet, Hasina will first visit the majar of Hazrat Shahjalal® and the Majar of Hazrat Shahparan ®. The Prime Minister will then address a function marking the hoisting of flag of the newly set up 17 Infantry Division at the Jalalabad Cantonment in Sylhet.   Hasina will then address a public rally at the MC Academy playground at Golapganj in Sylhet, to be organised by the local Awami League.   Before addressing the rally, she will inaugurate the Sylhet National Heart Foundation Hospital, Victim Support Centre, Kotwali model police station, Regional Director’s Office of the Technical Education Department, 31-bed South Surma Upazila Health Complex, 294-meter long bridge on River Surma at Kanaighat Bazar side on Sylhet-Gachbari-Kanaighat Bazar road, Bagbari (SESDP) model high school and Sylhet district family welfare visitors training institute.   The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stones of Sylhet Marine Academy Establishment project, turning Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital to Shishu Hospital, 360-meter long PC girder bridge on River Piyain at Goianghat Radhanagar Bazar, development programme of Golapganj Kailashtila Gas Field, and installation of distribution pipe line at Bishwanath and Balaganj upazilas under Sylhet gas transmission network upgradation project. –UNB
