Recently, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while addressing the 13th Convocation of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) at Krishibid Institutions Bangladesh, Dhaka has asked physicians to serve people with sincerity and good feelings. While stressing the importance of providing medical services to patients properly, the PM said-“We know a patient recovers half with the good behavior of a doctor. This is a noble vow. You have to provide medical treatment to people in distress”.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government have been working hard to modernizing medical facilities in the country and to bring the facilities to the door-step of the common people. The number of medical institutions, hospitals and health centers has increased significantly.
Meanwhile even within the limited resources, our physicians are working with full devotion and dedication. What more is needed a strong commitment and hearty feelings of the physicians to cure a patient as has been urged by the Prime Minister.
