Detective Branch (DB) of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) unit have arrested Assistant Professor of Islamic History and Culture department of the Rajshahi University (RU) Dr. Amirul Islam from university concerned with area binodpur on Thursday at evening.When contacted, Assistant Commissioner of DB of RMP unit Sushanta Ray, said Court issued arrest warrant to him on police attacking Case that has been filed against him on March 17 of 2013
Contacted, Humayan Kabir, officer in charge (OC) of Motihar police station, said arrested teacher is now at Motihar police station, later he will be sent to Boalia Model Thana.
