Police were unable to make arrests in the murder of retired CID officer Fazlul Karim. The victim’s family, so far, is yet to file a case with the police.
Police are trying to uncover the mystery surrounding his murder, OC Delwar Hossain Rampura Police told journalists. The OC said the grieving family members are preparing to file a case in the afternoon of Friday.
Assailants entered Fazlul Karim’s residence and shot the 60-year old veteran police officer on Thursday morning. Three such criminals had entered the house to kill him, said Karim’s family. Doctors declared him dead after he was taken to a hospital.
The victim’s daughter believes a feud in their family is the motive behind his murder. Police have not said anything about this yet. – bdnews24.com
