Dhaka – PRAN Drinking Water arranged a walkathon on Friday on Purbachal Express Highway in the city to serve pure drink water among the country’s flood-affected people.Brand ambassador of PRAN Drinking Water and captain of the National Cricket team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and national cricket selector cum former captain of Bangladesh cricket team Habibul Bashar Sumon were
present at the function,UNB News Agency Reported.
Some 2,000 people took part in the five-km walkathon that began from International Convention City, Bashundhara with a novel cause to raise fund for the flood-hit people.Addressing the gathering, Mashrafe bin Mortaza said PRAN took a bold step to help the flood-hit people. He also urged all to stand by the flood victims.Head of Marketing of PRAN Beverage Ltd Atikur Rahman said the walking event was arranged to provide safe water among the flood-hit people.PRAN’s Chief Operating Officer Anisur Rahman and Assistant Brand Manager Abdullah Al Jubayer were also present on the occasion.
