Promising poets felicitated by Kobiter Khoje

Ra’dia Inc. and Kotha Kobita Abritti jointly organised a unique poetry competition programme titled “Kobitar Khojey”. Promising poets receited their self-composed poems. This initiative is designed to make youths of the country vibrant, literate and creative. In this regard, with love, rebellion, passion and urge for youth and excitement, young poets were invoked to submit their self-composed poems. The members of the jury board nominated the best ten poems from many young poets.

A concluding session was held recently where winners of ten promising poets recited their poems at a cultural evening, which held at Dipanpur, New Elephant Road in the city. Renowned poet Mohammad Nurul Huda was present as the chief guest and noted elocutionist Rupa Chakraborty and the editor of Jaldhi, poet Nahida Ashrafi were respectively present as special guests at the event. The guests presented crests and certificates to the selected 10 poets.

The award recipients’ poets are Probal Kumar Das, Bappi Bhushan, Mohana, James Anjus, Mahbub Rahman, Ujjwal Bain, Ashik Milton Sarkar, Arif Shamsul, Masuma Runa and Aniket Rajesh. Freelance Journalist Syed Rabius Shams and chief executive of Ra’da Inc. delivered the welcome speech at the event. Elocutionist Nazmul Ahsan, the coordinator of Kotha Kobita Abriti and the joint initiator of Kobitar Khoje, expressed his gratitude to everybody.
