A stone quarry worker was killed being chased by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Tahirpur border here on Wednesday morning.The deceased was identified as Nuruddin,43.
Witnesses said when Nuruddin tried to enter the Indian territory crossing Jadukata river to extract stone BSF troops chased him with a speedboat. Being panicked, he jumped into the river and died on the spot at about 11 am.
On information, Tahirpur thana police recovered the body.
