Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 in a raid arrested a drug peddler from Faridpur railway station area yesterday.RAB press release said, acting on a tip-off a team of RAB led by Company Commander Md. Mojammel Hossain conducted a raid in Laksmipur railway area near Faridpur railway station and arrested one Jobair Hossain, 19, son of Mahbubur Rahman of Bhati Lakshmipur along with 102 pieces of yaba tablets, one mobile phone set and four SIM cards.RAB sources said Jobair is a professional drug peddler, who has been involved with this drug trade for a long time. He was handed over to Kotwali police.Process was underway to lodge a case in this connection. -BSS, Faridpur
