Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) disbursed Taka 28 crore as different loans through its 19 branches in the district during the last six months of the current fiscal year.Thakurgaon zonal manager S.M. Helal said the bank has a target to disburse loan of Taka 50 crore 25 lakh through the branches in the district.The bank disbursed Taka 28 crore and at the same period collected Taka 30 crore against the target of Taka 50 crore 49 lakh.
The manager said the bank disbursed Taka 22.5 crore for crops loan, Taka 43 lakh for animal resources, Taka 69 lakh for small and middle entrepreneurs and Taka 4.5 crore as CC loan.It is mentioned that there are 35,323 clients in the district of the bank. -BSS, Thakurgaon
