Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) Joypurhat region has distributed over Taka 42.63 crore as agricultural loans among 5,978 farmers of the district during the first six months of the current fiscal through its 15 branches.
RAKUB Official sources said they have the target of distributing Taka 94.5 crore as agriculture loan in the district during the current fiscal year.RAKUB in the meantime realised over Taka 69.18 crore as outstanding loan against the realisation target of over Taka 106.74 crore fixed by the bank for the current year.The percentage of loan distribution in the region stands at 46 percent on December 30.Zonal Manager Mozammel Hoque said the loan disbursement and realisation were hampered and the percentage of loan disbursement and realisation target could not be fulfilled due to the law and order in the wake of political unrest. –BSS, Joypurhat
