Dhaka – A schoolgirl was killed as a rashly-driven truck ran over her at Sukhia on the Dhaka-Kishoreganj highway in Pakundia upazila on Friday.The deceased was identified as Setu,11, class V student of Porabaria Government Primary School and daughter of Selim Miah, a resident of Porabaria village of the upazila,UNB News Agency Reported.
Police said a speeding truck ran over the girl in the area in the evening while she was crossing the road, leaving her dead on the spot.
Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Kishoreganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
