Recreational Eid atmosphere persists in Rangpur division


A recreational Eid atmosphere is persisting on the third day since the holy Eid-ul-Fitr day as thousands of people are rushing to the, entertainment and tourist spots for pleasure allover Rangpur division.
The recreational, entertainment and tourist spots have been witnessing huge rush of the people everywhere in Rangpur division since the last three
days to enjoy the blissful occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr festivity.
The enthusiastic people of all ages, particularly youths, adolescents and young girls, wearing colourful dresses are visiting these spots making
those places overcrowded since the Eid-ul-Fitr day maintaining the festive mood till today.
In Rangpur city, thousands of people are thronging ‘Proyas’ Entertainment Park on the Ghaghot riverbank, Fantasy Zone, Tazhat Zamider’s
Palace, Chikley Lake Water Park, Rangpur Zoo, ‘Surovi Uddyan’ and other recreational spots to get refreshed and enjoy the festivity.
The people are rushing at the colourfuly decorated recreational spots like ‘Vinnojagat’, ‘Ananda Nagar’, Teesta Road Bridge point, Sheikh Hasina
Teesta Bridge at Mohipur Ghat, ‘Neelamborer Jalmahal’, Teesta Barrage Canal and other areas outside the city.
Similarly, countless people are thronging the ‘Shopnopuri Artificial Amusement Park’, ‘Kantzeu Mandir’, ‘Ramsagar’, Dinajpur Rajbari’ and ‘Gore Shahid Eidgah Maidan’ in Dinajpur, ‘Neelsagar’ and Teesta Barrage Project in Nilphamari, ‘Bhitargarh Maharaja Dighee’, ‘Tentulia Dak Banglo’, Mahananda
riverbank, ‘Kazi and Kazi Tea Estate and Banglabandha Land Port in Panchagarh, the Shikh Hasina Dharla Bridge and Dharla Bridge in Kurigram, Tin-Bigha Corridor, Burimari Zero Point and Sheikh Rasel Shishu Park in Lalmonirhat and many other places of tourists’ attraction in Rangpur division.
All these recreational places have been decorated with new look and amusement flavour to attract more visitors to the full capacity amid
admirable security measures in all eight districts of the division.
Thousands of boys, girls, students, youths and children with their parents wearing colorful dresses are gathering at these places where
temporary fairs, shops and business centres have also been set up to sell different handcrafts, foods and toys.
Superintending Engineer of Rangpur City Corporation Amdad Hossain said hundreds of people are visiting the Chikley Lake Water Park in Rangpur city to enjoy beauty of the nature and share bliss of Eid-ul-Fitr festivity.
Talking to BSS, students Manisha, Abdullah, Lily Begum, Sultan Pervin, Shimla Ferdousi, Shahana Khatun and Arman Hossain at different recreational spots in Rangpur city said they were excited to enjoy the beauty at those entertaining spots.
University students Rafiul Islam, Mehedi Hassan, Habiba Begum and Morsheda Khatun while visiting the Chikley Lake Water Park in Rangpur said they enjoyed while travelling by speed boat on the water park there.
Talking to BSS on the Sheikh Hasina Teesta Bridge at Mohipur Ghat on the juncture of Rangpur and Lalmonirhat districts, school teacher Farzana
Sultana said she came there with family members to see the bridge, river and enjoy beauty of the nature.
College students Aklima Begum Morium Nechha, Fatema Akhter and Abraham Lincon while visiting the Teesta Road Bridge at Kawnia upazila in Rangpur said they enjoyed loveliness of the river as well as natural beauty there.
Couple Atikur Rahman and Shelly Begum at Rangpur Zoo said they enjoyed riding on ‘Nagordola’ with their children as well as friends and observing
various animals and birds there.
Similarly, housewife Yasmin Khanom, journalist Rezaul Karim Jiban, businessman Abu Bakar Siddique and teacher Anar Koli at ‘Proyas’
Entertainment Park in Rangpur city said they were excited to enjoy the natural beauty and recreational facilities there.
Additional Divisional Commissioner Md. Zakir Hossain said many enthusiastic people are visiting recreational spots across Rangpur division
during celebrations of the Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha, Bengali New Year and other festivities.
“The necessity of amusement among common people is enhancing following continuous improvement in their socioeconomic conditions in last ten years and the trend will continue to increase in the future,” Hossain added, reports BSS from Rangpu.
