Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (Rehab) on Saturday expelled its general secretary Engineer Anisuzzaman Bhuiyan Rana on charge of anti-organisational activities.The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the Rehab executive committee, said a press release.
Rehab membership of Rana’s business firms — The Royal Estate Private Limited and Basasthan Development Limited — has been cancelled. “Hence, Rana’s executive membership and also his general secretary post have been fallen vacant,” the release said.
The decision to expel him was taken to ensure transparency in Rehab and brighten its image, the release added. (Source: UNB)
