In the latest reshuffle in the judiciary, 13 Additional District Judges and equivalent officials and five Joint District Judges and equivalent officials have been transferred. The Law Ministry issued a notification on Tuesday in this regard. The notification said the transfers have been made in consultation with the Supreme Court. Additional District and Session Judge Mohammad Helal Uddin of Dhaka has been transferred as Chief Judicial Magistrate of Munshiganj while that of Narayanganj Mohammad Ali Akbar made Chief Judicial Magistrate of Faridpur. Kurigram Additional District and Session Judge Mohammad Amzad Hossain has been sent to Rangamati as Chief Judicial Magistrate while that of Dhaka Mohammad Anisur Rahman to Kushtia as Chief Judicial Magistrate. Manikganj Additional District and Session Judge Mohammad Mafizur Rahman Bhuiya has been made Chief Judicial Magistrate of Feni while that of Comilla Mohammad Rafiqul Islam Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patuakhali. Naogaon Additional District and Session Judge Munshi Rafiul Alam has been transferred as Chief Judicial Magistrate of Pabna while Dinajpur Additional District and Session Judge Gazi Rahman sent to Gaibandha. Kushtia Additional District and Session Judge Mamtaz Parvin has been made Chuadanga Chief Judicial Magistrate while Narsingdi Additional District and Session Judge ABM Jahirul Haque Goni chowdhury Sylhet Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. Satkhira Additional District and Session Judge Mohammad Abdur Rab Hawladar has been shifted to Barisal as Chief Metropolitan Magistrate while Chittagong Additional District and Session Judge Prashanta Kumar Biswash to Madaripur and Chittagong Additional Metropolitan and Session Judge Mohammad Golam Sarwar to Kishoreganj as Chief Judicial Magistrate. Besides, Brahmanbaria Joint District Judge Mohammad Abdur Rahim Talukdar has been made Jhalakathi Joint District and Session Judge while Khagrachhari Joint District Judge AKM Enamul Karim Joint District and Session Judge of Narail. Mymensingh Land Survey Tribunal Joint District Judge Mohammad Masud Parvez has been transferred to Dhaka as Joint Metropolitan Session Judge while Laxmipur Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mamun to Khagrachhari Joint District Judge and Shariatpur Joint District Judge Mohammad Solaiman made Chittagong Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.
