In the latest reshuffle in the police administrant, 13 senior police officers, including four of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP), have been transferred.The Home Ministry issued a notification on Monday in this regard.
According to the notification, Additional Commissioner of CMP Md Mainul Hasan has been sent to Sylhet Metropolitan Police while its Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sanjoy Kumar Kondo made superintendent of police (SP) of Tourist Police.
CMP DC Kamrul Amin has been transferred to Barisal Metropolitan Police as its DC while another DC Muktar Hossain to Bhola as SP.
Newly promoted SP Sarwar Morshed Shamim has been made SMP DC while another newly elevated SP MA Masud made Commandant of RRF, Chittagong.
Newly promoted SPs Mokhlesur Rahman, Md Maruf Hossain to CMP and SM Mostain Hossain have been made CMP DCs while SP Abu Hena Khandker Ahidul Karim has been sent to Khulna Range.
Besides, SP Md Nowroz Hasan Talukder of Tourist Police has been transferred to PBI as SP while DC (Current Charge) of KMP Abul Bashar Talukder to Range DIG office of Dhaka as SP (Current Charge) and SP of Industrial Police Md Abul Khayer to Sarda Police Academy as SP.
