Robbers looted cash, motorbike, gold ornaments and other valuables from two houses at Dhandia village in Patkelghata on Sunday.
Local people said a gang of 10-12 armed robbers broke into the house of Banu Saha early in the morning and looted 8 tolas of gold ornaments, Tk 40,000, motorbike and others valuabes.The hoodlums also hacked Banu’s son Rajkumar and Deb kumar when they tried to resist.The injured were admitted to a local hospital.Another gang of robbers stormed into the house of Shadon Kormokar of the village and looted 6 tolas of gold ornament and Tk 30,000.Patkelghata Police Station officer-in-charge Mamunur Rashid confirmed the incidents. -UNB, Satkhira
