Dhaka – Rocket, a mobile banking service of Dutch Bangla Bank, has been named the title sponsor of the upcoming Test and T20I series between host Bangladesh and visiting Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the name — Rocket Bangladesh-Sri Lanka Series 2018 — at a press conference at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on Monday.Bangladesh-Sri Lanka will play a two-match Test and a two-match T20I series. Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong will host the 1st Test of the series beginning on January 31 while the 2nd Test at SBNCS on February 8.The first T20I will be held at SBNCS on February 15 while the other at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on February 18.BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury announced the name at the press conference where BCB Disciplinary Committee Vice Chairman Sheikh Sohel and Managing Partner of Impress Mattra Consortium Sanaul Arefeen were also present.UNB news agency
